Bridging the Gap

On the evening of August 28, the Fusion committee, composed of students from Morehouse, Spelman, and Emory, attended Emory’s Best in Show performance. Stepping out of their normal zone, it was a first appearance at a major Emory event for the Morehouse and Spelman (AUC) students.
As always, FUSION makes things memorable, its exciting style bringing a new twist to the ordinary pattern of events. Â During the middle of Best in Show, the Fusion team dominated the stage to introduce its members and hype up the crowd about FUSION! Â Afterward, the team presented each Emory (dance?) team with a special custom-made invitation box.
That night, a bridge was built.  By taking steps to reach out to one another, Fusion is all about crossing boundaries. The energy between students from Emory and the AUC created the connection among different people for which Fusion stands.
